About the Black & White Room

My whole life, I've been the person people call when they need help. As a handyman and HVAC technician, I showed up for family, friends, and neighbors — when no one else would, and when hiring someone just wasn't in the budget. Helping people wasn't just something I did. It was just who I am.

When I got injured, the hardest part wasn't the pain. It was not being able to show up for the people I love the way I always had. That feeling — of wanting so badly to help and not being able to — stayed with me, mentally I still have to stay strong.

So I started the Black & White Room, like an old school news paper add.

It's my way of still showing up. I handpick products that make everyday life a little easier, a little more comfortable, and a lot more affordable — because everyone deserves that, especially the people who give so much of themselves to others.
